Job Description: MTN Nigeria is currently hiring for the role of Engineer – Transmission Access Planning in Ibadan, Oyo. The primary responsibility of this role is to design, direct, and ensure cost-effective solutions for network planning. The engineer will be involved in various aspects of network planning, including microwave link engineering design, fiber infrastructure planning, integration plans, synchronization plans, IP networking plans, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain cost-effective and innovative network planning solutions.
- Produce detailed engineering designs using planning tools.
- Plan and design fiber infrastructure routes and connectivity plans.
- Develop integration and IP networking plans.
- Manage and optimize transmission capacity.
- Conduct LOS Survey and TSS for new and existing sites.
- Ensure accurate and updated information on transmission networks.
- Resolve transmission failures and problems.
- Foster collaboration and relationships across the organization.
Requirements:
- First Degree in Computer Science / Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Cisco Certification to Professional Level required, with a bias in Security.
- CCIE certification would be an added advantage.
- Fluent in English.
- 3 – 7 years experience in a relevant specialization, working collaboratively.
- Experience with transmission, microwave radio, and fiber optic networks.
- Experience in connectivity, route planning, IP planning technologies, topology, and logical networks.
