About the Job:
As the Business Intelligence (BI) / Customer Value Management (CVM) Manager, you will be instrumental in providing accurate, timely, and strategic insights to SmartCash leadership. Your role involves developing effective business and commercial reports to enhance decision-making, guiding pricing strategies, and overseeing planning. You will create a framework for commercial processes, support senior leadership, and ensure the availability and accuracy of reports. Your focus will be on our Warehousing division.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage business reporting, pricing, and market intelligence activities.
  • Identify and analyze trends with strategic implications for the business, consistently updating management on market trends and competitor activities.
  • Develop business intelligence tools and systems, including databases and spreadsheets.
  • Collect relevant business intelligence data from diverse sources.
  • Analyze and synthesize business intelligence data to provide actionable recommendations.
  • Foster growth through strategic business development in the Warehousing segment.
  • Maintain a thorough grasp of company offerings to identify potential business prospects.
  • Assess and refine past business development strategies.
  • Provide mentorship to enhance team performance.
  • Convert potential clients into revenue opportunities through targeted outreach.
  • Create and deliver impactful reports on customer base, product performance, growth, and revenue.
  • Produce regular reports for executive management reviews, including board presentations.
  • Analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and provide insights for growth strategies.
  • Collaborate with various teams to enhance business visibility and insights.
  • Develop and implement strategies for achieving sales targets.
  • Execute data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) operations.
  • Support the automation of SmartCash reports and develop new reports.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy in reporting.
  • Collaborate with IT and business planning teams for consistent data usage.
  • Model, dimension, and develop new reports in line with requirements.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s or HND Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • Relevant Experience: At least 3 years’ hands-on experience in service reporting tools like Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition, Oracle Discoverer, and systems administration.
  • Proficiency in databases such as Oracle, MSSQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
  • Skilled in SQL (PL-SQL, MS-SQL, and PG-SQL), Microsoft Power BI, and data analysis tools like SPSS or R-Statistics.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint software.
  • Capacity to derive insights from reports to improve customer retention and value.
