Job Responsibilities: Financial Control Responsibilities:

  • Provide accounting and clerical support within the apartment and oversee operations.
  • Accurately type, prepare, and maintain accounting documents and records.
  • Compile results from OTAs and process payments promptly.
  • Reconcile accounts in a timely manner.
  • Enter essential financial transaction data into databases and expenditure reports daily.
  • Supervise company operations and staff.
  • Research, track, and resolve accounting or documentation issues and discrepancies.
  • Inform management and prepare reports/summaries on areas of activity.
  • Operate in accordance with established standards, procedures, and applicable laws.
  • Continuously update job knowledge.


  • A University Degree or Diploma in Accounting.
  • Experience in Financial Accounting, personnel supervision, and problem resolution is advantageous.
  • Proficient in computer systems.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in Accounting/Finance. Experience in the hospitality industry, especially in luxury and international settings, is a significant advantage.


  • Demonstrated accounting experience.
  • Familiarity with bookkeeping and fundamental accounting procedures.
  • Competency in MS Office, databases, and accounting software.
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports.
  • Precision and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Aptitude for numerical work.
  • Ability to perform filing and record-keeping tasks.
  • Proficiency in data entry and word processing.
  • Highly organized.
  • Ability to review and evaluate the effectiveness, soundness, and proper implementation of accounting and financial controls, compliance procedures and controls, and the timeliness of documentation generation.
  • Conduct audits on par stock in all areas to ensure that all necessary hotel supplies are ordered and stocked well in advance.
  • Manage Tax and Regulatory Affairs – Ensure all tax and regulatory filings are submitted promptly.
  • Review Consumption vs. Bill of materials to detect and eliminate any shortages or pilferages.


  • Strong management skills, including the ability to appropriately assign or delegate work and authority to others in the pursuit of goals and provide advice and assistance as needed.
  • Proficiency in Hotel Management Software System.
  • Availability to work when required, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
  • Analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and a complete command of the English language.

Salary Range: N50,000 – N100,000 per month.
